GELATIN LIME CUCUMBER SALAD
This recipe is from a known age children.
1 packet (2.75 ounces) lemon gelatin
1 cup hot water
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon horseradish
1 cup salad dressing (May-type)
1 cup shredded cucumber
1 tablespoon grated onion
Dissolve gelatin in hot water, cool and vinegar add salad dressing and horseradish. Refrigerate and when slightly thickened, add the cucumber and onion. Chill until set.

8 1/4-oz can pineapple chunks
3-ounce package lemon flavored gelatin
1 cup boiling water
Drain pineapple, reserving syrup. Dissolve lemon gelatin in boiling water. Add the syrup and enough cold water to measure 1 / 2 cup. Refrigerate until partially thickens. Stir in pineapple chunks. Pour the mixture into a 2-quart serving; cool until almost set.
3-ounce package lemon gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1 cup whipped cream or topping
1 / 2 cup Kraft real mayonnaise
Dissolve lemon gelatin in boiling water, cool. Combine whipped cream and mayonnaise, then add little by little in the lemon gelatin mixture. Refrigerate until partially thickened. Pour over lime layer. Refrigerate until almost set.
Applesauce GELATIN MOLD
1 / 2 cup red hot cinnamon candies
1 cup water
raspberry gelatin 6-oz package
Tin 15 ounces apple
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
In a small saucepan, cook the sweet water, stirring frequently, until melted. Empty gelatin in a bowl and add fresh water, stir until gelatin is completely dissolved. Add the applesauce and vinegar. Pour into a gelatin mold 6-cup and refrigerate until firm. To serve, remove from pan onto a plate and cover with mayonnaise type salad dressing, if desired.
Option: Sprinkle chopped walnuts over the salad.
